Is your club on the Essex Youth Map?

Back in June 2024 Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services set up the Essex Youth Map, an online resource for young people showing what activities are available locally.

Working with ECVYS we are encouraging Essex youth groups to upload their details to the Essex Map so we have a comprehensive resource detailing all the great projects available to young people in the county.

We are delighted that since June when there were 600 options listed, there are now approximately 1,000 options and the map has been viewed nearly 6,000 times.  We have also distributed letters to all Year 7s across Essex, highlighting the map to both schools and pupils.

Youth work and positive activities for young people are so important. At the VVU we see the tangible difference youth clubs have on our young people – the self confidence they build, the friendships that are made, the support they offer. It is great to see the Map being used by organisations and young people alike.
