Detective Inspector

I am Sharon Wyatt a Detective Inspector for Essex Police.  I have been a Police Officer for 22 years, in many varied positions learning and developing from each new role.  I joined the Violence and Vulnerability Unit in November 2021 to experience new ways of working and drive change.

I have lived in Essex all my life and I am passionate about improving the lives of individuals within our community, especially those of children and young people.  Being part of the VVU has allowed me to share my passion for partnership working with other likeminded individuals.  I have greatly enjoyed working with partners in all of our key areas making improvements across communities.

Outside of work, I have a large family who keep me occupied and smiling.  I also keep the team fed with all my favourite recipes from TikTok!
